Will Insurance Cover Services?
Note: (Dr. Price is accepting new patients with Aetna, Northwell Direct and Cigna only).
What if I would like services but I am not covered?
If your insurance company is not listed, you can select the "Self-Pay" option (Self-Pay clients pay for their sessions using cash, check or credit card and may possibly be reimbursed by their insurance carrier). If you become a "Self-Pay" client you may have the option of seeking reimbursement from your insurance company for the services you pay for. If you wish to seek reimbursement from your insurance company our office will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit with your reimbursement claim.
In addition, for clients paying out of pocket who have a PPO plan with behavioral health benefits, after you have been seen for at least 3 sessions and your deductible has been met, as a courtesy, Dr. Price may offer to bill your insurance company directly as an "out of network" provider (under this arrangement, you may only have to pay the co-payment set by your insurance company and/or a small co-insurance fee. However, you are responsible for determining your "out of network" coverage).
